ISLAMABAD, NOV 14 (DMN) - 1st briefing session of Pak-Austria Parliamentary Friendship Group held in Islamabad. 

1st briefing session of the Pak-Austria Parliamentary Friendship Group by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) was held on 14th November, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Parliament House, Islamabad under the Convenership of Mustafa Mahmud, MNA. 

The Convener Pak-Austria Parliamentary Friendship Group, Mustafa Mahmud has stressed upon the need to expand cooperation and contacts with the parliaments across the globe through the platform of Parliamentary Friendship Groups.

Director General MoFA has given details regarding Pak-Austria bilateral relations and shared that Pak-Austria Parliamentary Friendship Group is not only meant to foster coordination with the Parliament of Austria but also to expand the scope of cooperation from parliament-to-parliament interaction to essential people-to-people contacts. 

Members from Pak-Austria Parliamentary Friendship Group have shown tremendous interest in further cementing the relationships with Austria. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks.=DMN
