Inaugural Edition of Annual Eighteen Golf Match 2019 on November 30

KARACHI, NOV 27 – Inaugural Edition of Annual Eighteen Golf Match 2019 on November 30. A joint venture between, Egyptian based, Ora Developers, Saif Group of Pakistan, & KBD builders and developers has stepped up its role in the prestigious sport of golf. As part of the effort, Eighteen is resolute to promote Golf in Pakistan, with its core mission to boost the passion of the game.

The inaugural edition of the Eighteen Annual Golf Match will get underway on November 30th and December 1st at Karachi Golf Club (KGC) and will witness participation of over 300 golfers, alongside the guests of Eighteen – the main organizer of the match.

The sporting event will be completed over two days and will feature a Shot Gun start and a Texas Scramble Format – A format which is designed to take advantage of the fact that a golf course can be used more efficiently, and a golf tournament can be completed more quickly. 

Golfers in this format tend to compete on more of the golf course simultaneously than waiting to tee off designated holes.

The golfers will then battle it out for the title which brings a prize money for the winner, which will be announced on December 1 at the Closing Ceremony of the match.

It is pertinent to mention that this tournament has been registered as a calendar event at the Karachi Golf Club and will take place annually.

Former Speaker Sindh Assembly Abdullah Hussain Haroon will grace the inaugural edition of Eighteen Annual Golf Tournament 2019 at Karachi Golf Club, as the honorable Chief Guest.

The tournament which gets underway on Saturday, November 30th promises to entertain the guests with high quality golfing action over the course of two days. Entry to the tournament is through invitation only.
