Government and leadership of Pakistan extend felicitations to the President of
the European Council Charles Michel, President of the European Commission
Ursula von der Leyen, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign
Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the European Commission Joseph
Borrell, and the new College of European Commissioners, on assumption of their
respective offices.
Pakistan values its close,
cooperative relations with the European Union based on shared commitment to
peace and development.
The long term and broad-based
partnership between the two sides for peace, progress and prosperity of our
peoples is pursued through robust institutional mechanisms and dialogue
frameworks.
