ISLAMABAD, OCT 27 - Serena Hotels under its Adventure Diplomacy Initiative organized an Adventurous Hike on Sunday.
Members of the Diplomatic Community, Government, Armed Forces, Corporate Sector and friends of Serena participated in the hike on Margalla Trail 6
which combines a gentle picturesque amble for the first 1.5 kilometer with a more challenging incline towards the end.
The trek ended on sumptuous breakfast overlooking the Talhar Valley
that is considered to be one of the most beautiful and eye-catching locations in the Margallas.

Noted among trekkers were the representatives of the embassies and missions of Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Norway, Palestine, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Yemen.

The chief guest was Colonel (Retd.) M. Sher Khan who is a renowned mountaineer famous for being the first Pakistani to climb the daunting Rakaposhi (7,788 metres)
and Nanga Parbat (8,126 metres) amongst his many illustrious climbs.

Indonesian envoy discusses Indonesia, Pakistan Hajj cooperation
JAKARTA, OCT 25 – Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan, Iwan Suyudhie Amri, met with Director General of Hajj and Umrah Management Ministry of Religion Affairs of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Nizar Ali.
During the meeting they discussed the possible technical cooperation (sharing best practices and experiences) between Indonesia and Pakistan on Hajj system.
